Community Involvement
Marz Homes recently sponsored the Canadian Cancer Society's 9th annual Golf for a Cure tournament for the second consecutive year. At this year's tournament, Marz introduced the first-ever Hole-in-One Home giveaway. Each contestant had a shot at a hole-in-one to win a brand new townhome from Marz Homes' award winning community, Waterview Village in Stoney Creek. Unfortunately there wasn't a winner this year, but one golfer came within just inches of the hole!
The home giveway caused a lot of excitement and anticipation leading up to this year's tournament, but it was the contribution to the community that was the main goal for Marz.
"We live and work in the Hamilton community, so at the heart of it all is the promotion of an event that goes toward such a good cause," says Danny Gabriele, Vice President of Marz Homes. "We were very successful in raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society in Hamilton/Wentworth, and we're just so proud to be a part of that - to make a difference in our community in any way we can."
